About Association of Animal Artists

The Association of Animal Artists (AAA), based in the north west of England, invites you to join us for field trips, exhibition opportunities and the chance to participate in days out painting en plein air. The ethos of the (AAA) is that ALL the artists belonging to the group are encouraged to create and exhibit artwork of absolutely any animal or bird.

Here is some information about the benefits of being a member of AAA:

• AAA is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.
• AAA organises days out to gain reference where artists can sketch and take photographs and when time and weather allows, paint ‘Plein-Air’! We are proud of the friendships we have built within various organizations and charities, and work hard to try and use our artwork to help promote charitable work (animal and animal related) wherever possible.
• AAA offers both non selected and selected Art Exhibitions in the North West each year. We actively promote all styles of artwork.
• A feature of the AAA Autumn Exhibition is the ‘AAA ART RENDEZVOUS!'.  This unique event in the North West is an opportunity for some of our artists to work from life and some to give demonstrations.  It is a showcase of art....here in the North West!  Charities we work with each year attend the 'Art Rendezvous!' to promote their work and meet the public.  On sale are Christmas cards, calendars and greetings cards produced by the charities using images from some of our artists.  To take part in the exhibitions and the ‘AAA ART RENDEZVOUS!’ artists must be members of AAA.
• Members can promote their work by putting two images and a bio onto the AAA website.
